The Lord is giving me a clear and unquestionable understanding of what it is like to be and stay in His presence – that is, to come out of our worldly, predictable and comfortable chronos time and enter into His heavenly, uncertain and unpredictable kairos time. He said to me:
In My presence there is no past or future. To be with Me is to be in the present only, for I do not live in the past or future when you are with Me – places where you prefer to dwell. I only know what is before Me and do not keep records of the past. Therefore, you cannot keep a running account with Me of any of your past accomplishments in My name. Nor do I keep an account of your past transgressions to hold against you – as long as you have confessed and repented of your sins.
I am only interested in what you are doing for Me now! What has past – no matter how good if may have been – carries no weight with Me nor matters if you only want to dwell in the past as if that is all I will require of My disciples. If you persist in living in the past, you are static and not keeping up with Me as I continue to move forward, and you will be left behind – a decision of your own choosing.
If you are willing to move out of earthly time (chronos time) then you will be moving forward and upward with Me into kairos time (heavenly time) for that is the only place where I dwell – that is, I only dwell in the present in all circumstances for wherever I AM there is no past or future.
If you persist in remaining only in chronos time, then you will only receive a mere stubble and small portion of what I want to give you, and you will perish on a withered vine for want of spiritual nourishment from Me – a dangerous place to be where you can easily be led astray from Me without even knowing what you are doing or where you are going.
If you continue to abide in Me (in kairos time) then you will receive all of My portion for you to be My disciple in this world, for you will remain plugged into Me and all I have for you without reservation. But that will require to you die to self so that I may enter into you and do My work in you – a place that is anathema to your flesh and worldly self. Enter into My presence to give Me all your worship, praises, and prayers so that I can continue to bless you as My faithful and humble servants in this world, and it will require sacrifices on your part.
